Not only is Buck Hill a great place for the family to go snow tubing, they also offer a 3 hour learning program called “The Science of Tubing”! Once you’ve had your fun, warm up in the Main Chalet or grab a bite to eat at the Black Diamond Restaurant.
Minneapolis: Theodore Wirth Regional Park
The tubing hill at Wirth Park, just behind The Trailhead, features a riding hill designed especially for family fun, with a tow rope to bring tubers back up to the top of the hill on designated days. Returning this year is a Kiddie Hill for young riders accompanied by an adult to enjoy!
Green Acres has been a family owned snow tubing business since 1974. They have an open tubing hill that is groomed with no individual lanes. The snow tubes all end up in a common run out area at various speeds. Enjoy the ride back up the hill by the use of tow ropes.
The Trapp Farm Park Tubing Hill is located on Wilderness Run Road between Dodd Road and Lexington Avenue. Approximately 75 tubes designed for winter tubing are available.
