create: Mini Kitchen Gallery Wall (finally complete!)

I am nerdily (yep that’s a word) excited about this. I was far from thrilled with the original results of my mini kitchen gallery wall. BUT, I added a few extra touches and voila. Now I love it!

Try to ignore the obvious nail holes where things used to hang (I’m working up the motivation to fill them in.) I’ll be following up with a tutorial next week on how I made the E.A.T. letters.

I found this little french dictionary during a trip to St. Charles, IL and fell in love with the vintage style graphics. I had no idea what I would do with it, I think it fits in nicely with my kitschy kitchen.

Artwork was found through various artists on Etsy. I mounted them to thrifted plaques and frames. If I had to give advice on putting together an eclectic gallery wall such as this, I would say:

  1. BE PATIENT. I was too eager to put things on the wall that I didn’t have enough to put up. It ended up looking oddly unbalanced and bare.
  2. Take the time to gather a collection of things you love. Once you have it all together THEN you can start hanging.

blog loads a lot quicker then most. Can you recommend a good
hosting provider at a honest price? Cheers, I appreciate it!

  12. Today, while I was at work, my sister stole my iPad and tested to see if
it can survive a thirty foot drop, just so she can be a
youtube sensation. My iPad is now broken and she has 83 views.
I know this is entirely off topic but I had to share it with someone!
