Every Mother’s Worst Nightmare
Sure, this is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Rite Aid Tugaboos diapers. But you don’t want to miss this tale of horror.
It was just like every other morning. Except it wasn’t. Boy, was I in for it. I went in get Bean up and was greeted by a sight of pure horror.
Poopy. Everywhere. The sheets, the crib railings, her hair, her hands, her MOUTH were all covered (she’s a thumb sucker.) Turns out Bean had learned how to undress and take off her own diaper overnight. Awesome.
Since that fateful morning I have been well aware of what diapers we’re using and how well they’re secured prior to “ni-nite” time. Every pair of pj’s are painstakingly analyzed for “ease of Bean’s removal.”
So when I was given the opportunity to see how a new brand fared with Bean’s expertise, I was ready and willing. So far (fingers crossed) so good. I’m actually quite impressed. So is Bean.
They passed the Bean 4 point quality check:
Hypoallergenic inner liner, CHECK.
Soft stretchable waist & side panels, CHECK.
From that tale, I was never so happy that both my girls are potty trained. God do I remember the poopy diaper messes and that one definitely sounded like a doozy!! But I must say Bean does look like she takes her job seriously and god is she too cute for words!! 🙂
I love the way you wrote that. Bean looks like a super good diaper inspector. Look at that serious face! 🙂

Poopy everywhere. Yikes. Glad that got nipped in the bud.
She is precious! and I love that you call her Bean! Too cute! 🙂
Oh goodness…that must have been horrible. Cute post 🙂
It'll be a sad day when she looks at me and says, “Mom, don't call me Bean anymore.”
She takes her job quite seriously 🙂
Hehe thanks Janine 🙂 Luckily when she's awake she's pretty insistent on getting her “poopies” changed. Hoping that translates into quick potty training!
Thanks so much! Worked pretty hard on it 🙂
