Girly Paw Patrol Theme Kid’s Birthday Party

I am officially the mom to a five year old. I say it every year, where does the time go? “The days are long, but the years are short.” Truer than true.

With the new addition to our family, and with Bean’s obsession with all things Paw Patrol, I knew exactly what sort of theme we should do for her birthday party…

A girly paw patrol party idea! Throw an Everest theme kid's birthday party for the Paw Patrol fan in your life.

I knew I didn’t want to (didn’t have the time to) overdo it with the decorations, so I kept it simple. I went with a purple and aqua color scheme to match Everest.

My talented Grandma made an adorable table runner with some Everest and Skye fabric.

DIY balloon garland for birthday party decor

I found a super simple way to make a balloon garland, so I put my husband to work blowing them up.

This is something I would definitely do again! The only difference with mine is that I bunched the balloons up more. Cost effective, quick to make, and I loved how it filled the room with color.

Everest from Paw Patrol cupcake toppers

Bean just likes to lick the frosting off the top, so I didn’t mess around with making a cake. I love how quick and easy cupcakes are. I made these cupcake toppers with some photo paper, a toothpick, and some Photoshop skills.

I frosted the tops and dipped them in clear sprinkles to resemble “snow”.

thrifted DIY cupcake stand

I used the DIY cupcake tower that I made for Bean’s 1st birthday as the centerpiece. It is probably my favorite DIY that I have done EVER. I use it all the time and it was SO easy to make.

Before we dug into the cupcakes, Bean opened her birthday presents. That little girl sure is well loved!

You might say she was a little excited about what she got. That last photo above would be her telling me, “No mom, I’m not spoiled. Really!

Bean blew out her candles, ate her cupcake (and by eat, I mean she licked off all the frosting and said she was done), and then it was time for her last surprise from Auntie Katie and Uncle Brendon…

She got to take a wack at her very own pinata! Or, as Bean calls them, a PINYANA. She has been obsessed with pinatas since her Dad’s birthday last April. We got him a mini one and Bean has been talking about having one for her birthday ever since.

Bean had a blast, got everything she hoped for and more, and did it all surrounded by lots of family who love her (plus 3 Great Grandmas!). MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
