Thrift Store Treasures
Surprisingly, I got my husband to agree to go thrift store shopping with me again this weekend. We had gone last Saturday and came home unsuccessful but I had a good feeling about today.
He couldn’t understand why I would want to go again so soon, so I had to explain the concept of “thrift store shopping” and how things are constantly coming and going. He was unconvinced, but bless his heart he took me anyway.
I thought this owl would go perfectly in our woodland themed nursery, and for the price of 0.97 you can’t go wrong.
You should have seen the look on my hubby’s face when I picked this up. (insert wrinkled face and sarcastic tone here) “You’re really going to buy that? Why?”
I reassured him that I had a “vision” and not to worry.
These lamps are going to be one of my many projects.
I’ve been searching for 2 bedside table lamps that were about the same shape and height. I think I lucked out because these two pretty much look identical, they will really look like a set once I get a coat of paint and new covers on them.
Now I just have to find matching nightstands 🙂
I’ve been browsing blog after blog after blog and have seen a lot of skeleton key art.
I happen to love the look of skeleton keys (I have a tattoo of one on my foot) and have been searching for what I should put in the frames for my gallery wall that I have planned for the living room.
These are perfect and I got three for the price of one!
I love the owl! We have many thrifted owls in our house. 🙂
